Our new showroom is the renovated East Stanley Church Hall located on Chester Road, the A693 in Stanley, County Durham DH9 0TU. We are only a short drive from the Chester-le-street junction 63 coming off the A1. It is very easy to find, just off the main road and there is free on site parking available.

Our Showroom Experience
When you visit our showroom our designer will work with you to transform your kitchen. While some people know exactly what they want, a lot of our customers have a general idea but are unsure about the fine details.
We want to understand what you like and dislike about your current kitchen. If the layout doesn't work and your kitchen triangle is more of a square, well this is your chance to fix that.
If you have already picked a favourite door or worktop style that's great, we can build on that and pair it with other components to develop a design theme that works.
One of the things clients tell us they love about our showroom is being able to pick a style and colour of door from the display and then place it next to the worktop they like.
Visit us and try for yourself, theres no appointment needed and we have free on site parking.

Pebble Grey Kitchen Makeover in Stanley
We recently completed a stylish kitchen makeover in Stanley for Jeff and Sharon, who were keen to modernise their much-loved kitchen. While they were happy with the existing layout, they felt the space needed a refresh. The hoped to create something with a modern colour scheme and a bring a real “wow” factor back into the heart of their home.
After visiting our Durham kitchen showroom, which was conveniently close to their home, they shared their interest in exploring greys and neutral tones to tie in with the rest of their home’s colour scheme.
Our designer, Jon, visited their home with a van full of sample doors, giving them the opportunity to explore a wide range of colours and finishes in their own space. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love with our Oakham door style in Matt Pebble, a beautifully understated, contemporary choice. Jon was also able to show Jeff and Sharon a full range of handles, and they opted for a completely new style to what they’d had previously. The brushed Windsor knobs on the Oakham doors added the perfect finishing touch, bringing elegance and character to the new kitchen.
To complement the new doors, we installed Cream Limestone laminate worktops, creating a subtle contrast that enhances the overall style of their new kitchen.
One major aspect Jeff and Sharon wanted to change was the outdated wall tiles. We removed the tiles, skimmed the walls for a smooth finish, and installed a matching upstand to enhance the new worktops. A made-to-measure, neutral-toned glass splashback was also added behind the new Samsung gas hob, which was a practical yet stylish solution to protect the walls during cooking.
To complete the transformation, we fitted new, rigid LVT flooring throughout the kitchen, bringing together the whole look into one seamless, contemporary space.
The result is a stunning, refreshed kitchen that Jeff and Sharon will enjoy for years to come and at a fraction of the price they expected to pay!

Why a Kitchen Makeover ?
Jeff and Sharon opted for a kitchen makeover, choosing to retain their original cupboards, which were still in excellent condition, given the existing kitchen was less than 8 years old. This was a smart, sustainable choice that allowed them to invest more of their budget into high-impact upgrades, transforming the look and functionality of their kitchen without the need for a full rip-out and replacement.
To modernise the space and bring it up to date, we introduced new worktops, matching upstands, and a made-to-measure glass splashback, all carefully selected to complement the fresh Matt Pebble Oakham door style. These elements not only enhanced the overall look to the room, but also brought practical benefits, such as improved durability, easier cleaning, and better wall protection during cooking from the bespoke, colour-matched, glass splashback in particular.
A new granite sink and contemporary mixer tap replaced the old steel sink, adding both visual appeal and everyday functionality. The sink’s robust material is resistant to stains, scratches, and heat, which is a worthwhile upgrade for any busy kitchen.
To further improve the kitchen’s usability, we also installed a new gas hob and a multifunctional electric oven. These modern appliances provide more efficient cooking options and allow Jeff and Sharon to enjoy a higher level of performance and control in their day-to-day kitchen use.
Finally, we completed the transformation with new, rigid LVT flooring throughout the room. This not only elevated the kitchen’s appearance with a sleek, modern finish, but also added a practical layer of durability as it’s easy to clean, comfortable underfoot, and ideal for a high-traffic area like the kitchen.
The result is a thoughtfully updated kitchen that perfectly balances style, function, and smart investment, giving Jeff and Sharon the fresh new look they were after, with improved features that make everyday life easier.
