We completed this Kitchen Makeover in Durham for Carol, who came to us desperately trying to make good, her much loved kitchen after a flood. She absolutely loved her country kitchen and didn’t really want to change the colour scheme. Carol was also happy with the existing layout, but it needed some work, to bring it back to its former lustre!
The brief was to replace all the doors to recreate a cream, country looking kitchen with clean lines to compliment her much-loved, free-standing stove. Carol visited our showroom and fell in love with our Buxton doors on the Pistachio display.
Our designer took out a range of samples, which showed Carol a few cream colours to consider, but Vanilla won the vote!
The Buxton style door with the beautiful existing handles really does look stunning.
One of the things Carol was really worried about was matching to her old kitchen. So she decided to replace the panels, trims and plinth as well.
By installing all the new items, we were able to bring Carol’s kitchen back to life.
We were also asked to replace the mantle above her free-standing stove. So, with our ability to make anything work, we created a beautiful made-to-measure shelf, exactly what she hoped for.

The fitters were outstanding - I love my kitchen now. The whole process was flawless!

Why a Kitchen Makeover ?
After a flood, which damaged a couple of doors, Carol opted for a Kitchen Makeover retaining all original units. She struggled to find a company interested in doing the job, which is where we stepped in.
Keeping the colour scheme was important to Carol, so a cream country kitchen was the customers brief.
By offering a bespoke, made-to-measure service we were able to create a new kitchen, which brought the cream country feel back to her much loved space, without the cost associated with a whole new kitchen.
Extras
Installed a new mantle shelf above the free-standing stove to match the new doors and trims.
