We completed this Kitchen Makeover in Newcastle for Susan from Fenham.
Susan moved into her new home knowing that very soon after she wanted a new, modern kitchen, which included taking down the old-fashioned archway creating a stylish kitchen-diner.
Although this was a completely new kitchen Susan also wanted it designed to create a classic, homely feel. So, she opted for a shaker style door in Matt Mussel, with oak laminate worktops and a tiled Mediterranean style splashback
It really does look completely different from the dated, white kitchen she inherited on moving in. Opening up the kitchen, by removing the archway, really makes it feel spacious and the integrated appliances frees up much needed bench space.

Why a New Kitchen Install ?
Susan inherited the kitchen when she bought the house and wanted a complete renewal and the piece of mind that everything was done properly.
Design Features and Challenges
Susan wanted all her appliances integrated to stop the kitchen looking so cluttered and also bench space was a premium. To meet her design spec, we installed a new integrated; dishwasher, oven, microwave and full height fridge freezer. We also fitted a new tall larder cupboard to the side of the fridge freezer to give her even more storage. The old kitchen had an open spice rack created around an awkward soil pipe. We created a new, made-to-measure cupboard and with a door on, to hide the spices inside it looks much neater.
We were really pleased with the classic, country look of the kitchen and so was Susan!
